A WEDDING CARD FOR A DELIGHTFUL COUPLE

A sweet young couple in our church, Juandre (aka Blommie) and Kyle are getting married on Saturday, and my friend Jeannette asked me to make her a card to give them.

This is what I created (using a sketch from the Outlawz this week):


Here's how I made it (from the base up)

white cs base
gold cs mat
white cs embossed background
three layers of ribbon and a bow


sentiment on diecut with pearl heart embellishment


diecut flourish with flat back pearls and sewn on pearl surrounds, as well as sewn on sequins and beads


There are three flower pearls in the bottom right hand corner


I love the way this card turned out, and the three hours I sent making it were well worth it.

    Jen, I think this is absolutely beautiful!! Very elegant and classic and just plain gorgeous!! I think your three hours were very well worth it, too!! I'm sure your friend and the happy couple will be just thrilled!!
